Plans Sudanese Club

To represent Sudan in Book in 1 day, the Sudanese Club in Berlin will participate in a creative text workshop.
Sudanese refugees will write about the cultural difference between the Northern Arabic and the Southern Christian part of their country.

Plans group Turkey

In Turkey the group 'Local Agenda 21 Nilufer/Bursa' will organize a walk for freedom of expression in Bursa on the 3rd of May. They will also do a silent protest for Pippa Roca.

Plans Loesje Slovenia

Loesje Slovenia will cooperate with journalists in Slovenia. They will organize a press conference and support the work journalist’s do. Next to that they will organize creative workshops.

Plans creative group 'Ye Too Ponese Un espacio para la gestion de ineditos viables' Spain

Creative group 'Plans Ye Too Ponese Un espacio para la gestion de ineditos viables' Spain will organize the following activities for Book in 1 day:

  • Facilitating an artistic workshop about freedom of expression in the Psychologist University;
  • Preparing and performing an artistic event in the street during the evening with the ideas of the workshop participants;
  • Continuing the last year project. Spain did an action with their city sculptures. The group is planning to do something different with the sculptures and use bandages to cover them partly;
  • Show a film related to the topic.

Plans group Australia

In Australia a group will organize several creative workshops on the topic of 'How many of us belong to only one culture'.
The results of the workshops (poems, texts, paintings etc.) will be displayed in an exhibition.

Plans Loesje Malta

Loesje Malta will organize a public Loesje workshop and a photography workshop.

Plans Loesje Macedonia

Loesje Macedonia will do their first creative writing workshop in Macedonian and English. As a form of public installation they will fully or partially (depends on the object) cover objects with posters that are in a process of deterioration or decay. The covered objects will function as an ‘urban art installation’.
